Highly recommend Apex Hearing Services Geelong. Recently had a hearing test here and the service was excellent!

For those of you that find your hearing is not quite what it used to be, the matter of whether you need a hearing aid or even what type of hearing aid that you may require, can be a daunting one. My experience with Specsavers was not necessarily a bad one, but it did give me cause for second thoughts. I felt that after we went through the results of my $50 test with them, the clinician was a little too quick to remove their 'clinician' hat and put on their 'sales' hat. Suffice to say, l didn't make a decision then & there about spending a few thousand dollars on a hearing aid, but rather took the brochure home with me. I decided to go and get a referral from my doctor and see an independent audiologist.He referred me to Apex Hearing. I saw Orlando and he was great.The cost was $130, but when l walked out of the clinic, l felt that was money well spent. I was offered the option of a no obligation 30 day free trial of a hearing aid, which l will take up in a couple of months. I may or may not need a hearing aid for a while yet, as the process is only just starting, but l haven't had to commit several thousand dollars for something that isn't suitable for me, either.l would thoroughly recommend seeing an independent audiologist(like Orlando) first, rather than one of the more commercially oriented hearing services out there. I highly recommend audiologist Orlando Zilich. I recently had an audiogram/tympanogram, and I was extremely impressed with his professionalism, care, and thoroughness throughout the entire procedure.
